The visualisation presents four distinct AI perspectives. A workbook is available for you to create your own copy and document what each perspective means to you, your colleagues and your stakeholders.
While charities have a role in each perspective, discussions can become challenging when participants focus on different aspects. Some may want to discuss efficiency improvements while others focus on ethical concerns, or some might explore new charitable missions while others focus on daily operations.
It's natural to have mixed feelings about Generative AI—you might be excited about efficiency savings in your role while at the same time feeling worried about potential job losses or environmental impacts. That's why it's important to clarify which perspective you're discussing, allowing your team to set aside other viewpoints for future conversations.
This tool helps identify the perspectives being discussed, enabling more focused dialogue while recognising all viewpoints' importance. Each perspective deserves attention and increased civil society engagement.
